Well we switched to a different cure for the stomach problems our little emma has been having, what a difference, it has been almost 5 days since she had the back arching crying fits. It is so nice to have a somewhat normal baby now. She is so happy, she is learning about the hanging thingys on her mobile, and about the dogs and what a lick bath is. She is so happy now its almost like a different baby.

I promise more pictures will be coming so stay tuned. Back to Emma, she is so spoiled now, the dogs love her at the house, the daycare workers love her, she is an angel now that we have pretty much gotten the colic undercontro.

Throwing up like Excorcist.
Well we have decided that our house is making Emma sick. It seems that Emma has my alergies to just about everything, and when she and I return to the house after being gone we both go crazy with stuffy noses and sore throats. Well when my mom brought Emma back yesterday, she had some of those conditions, and promptly after eating 6ozs of formula decided to redecorate the floors in the living room and kitchen. Then she was hungry again, imagine that. Well today (Tuesday) is the first day for little Emma to be taken care of by the dogs Dozer, Tank, and Abby at the house, I showed them yesterday how to operate the bottle warmer and we will see how they do.
Actually she is at day care today while Kristi and I are at work all day. Updates on that experience tommorrow.

Weekend with the nances
Well we all loaded up and went to mom's house at Concrete to have some quality time with the Nances. The weekend was fun except for the chili and bean induced indigestion and musical program. We all went to the creek and had a great time playing cards and passing babies around. We need to have some televized baby fights, we have Noah in one corner, Audrey in the other corner, and introducing the never before seen Emma Faye (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) Once Emma bulks up a little and gets some of her dad's moves down she should be a contender. As for now all she can do is projectile vomit on the others, and screem like a car alarm. Pictures will be posted tonight so stay tuned.

Burping like a frat boy!
Emma is doing so good now. Yesterday I fed her and she burped like a frat boy. She is holding her head up on her own now, and looking around trying to see the world. She is smiling more and making the noises that end up being a laugh. She had a little bit of tummy ache last night but nothing big. We are excited because this weekend she gets to go and put her feet in the creek at Concrete and play with the Nances.

Emma is going to be a banshee for Halloween
That is the only thing she could fit as right now. Screaming constantly and being fussy. I guess she could go as a chewed tootsie pop or at least what she puts in her diaper could. Emma had a good day today, with an adventure to the grocery store and playing with the Abby and mommy all day. This weekend she is excited to get to see her cousins Audrey and Noah.

Daddy feels better, and Emma sleeps through the night.
Well we have come to realize something amazing, with a six week old baby you can turn the monitor down so that you cant quiet hear all the grunts and minor noises she makes, and only hear the big loud I'm awake cries. It actually caused Kristi to get some needed sleep last night, and Emma slept from 1130pm to almost 530am. I am feeling better after two days of missed work, and Kristi got an A Okay check up from the lady doctor today so we are good to go and happy about life. I cant wait till Emma starts talking.

Mommy is taking a drug test and daddy is stoned.
Well little Emma got quite a treat today. Daddy came home from work early cause he was sick, and mommy had to go take a drug test for her new job. So Emma rode with her drugged up daddy and mommy down to the place to take the test. Emma decided to cry and cry and cry until daddy had no choice but to cover his mouth and hold her and sing so she would calm down. Then everything was better.

Needville
Well after a wonderful sleepy night we took a trip to Needville today. To see Suesie and Clint, along with the entire Needville crew. It was fun, we came home with some nice food and eats. She decided to throw a little bit of a fit however when daddy decided to fix the squeaky washing machine. Now the house smells like WD40!!! Well its back to work for daddy and another day at home for mommy tommorrow. Hopefully little Emma will sleep all night again.

Sleeping through the night?
Well yesterday afternoon we had some issues with cool milk. Once we resolved those she fed at 1030pm and didnt stir until 5am this morning. She is almost six weeks old so I guess she can start sleeping through the night now. We are still having little bouts of colicy behavior but thank the lord they are only lasting 20-30 minutes now, instead of hours upon hours. We will see what the weekend holds for us. I'm getting sick so I wont be able to hold her this weekend much.

Playing with toys
Last night little Emma was laying on the fouton playing with her little overhead rattles and toys. She has her father's attention span however so it only lasted 5 minutes. She also decided to test daddy with a full frontal cow poopish diaper that wouldnt stop coming. Oh the horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its okay, I'm better now. Is it okay for me to swish her in the wash tub to clean her off? More to come later today.
